I have been affiliated with Cincinnati Dowel in some capacity since 1993. Their knowledge, quality and service in the wood products industry is at the top of the list and I would recommend them for any dowel, turning or related item you may need. They have a vast inventory of standard dowels, buttons, plugs and turnings but do shy away from them if you have a custom item as they have the knowledge and know how to get the job done.

We have been dealing with Cincinnati Dowel & Wood Products since the late 90’s. They have consistently provided us with quality product and competitive prices. They have expediated product to us when we have experienced shortages. One example that took place not too long ago involved them shipping us 15,000pcs of ½” flat head red oak plugs to cover us when we experienced an inventory shortage. They have been a good partner of ours. Their service has been stellar. Even during the dark days of the pandemic, and shortages were becoming the norm, we did NOT experience any shortages on the plugs & buttons the Cincy Dowel supplies us with.
