Flat Head ( Side Grain )

Our flat head plugs are typically used by woodworkers during furniture and other wood project assembly. The flat head plug has tapered sides for easy insertion into screw holes. The bottom of each plug is slightly smaller than the diameter of the hole while the top of the plug is slightly larger. This design eliminates the risk of plugs not fitting due to hole size variances. The side grain plug is designed to match the grain of the wood surrounding the hole. This design allows you to hide screw holes making them nearly invisible. Our flat head plugs are also available in end grain for applications where aesthetics allow the plugged hole to be more visible.
